Learn how to complete your onboarding process as a new employee.


In this lesson, we'll take you through the onboarding process from start to finish:

How to open your Onboarding Process

From the main Dashboard, you will find processes that you need to action. Within this list, select the Onboarding option (as seen below).

After you have clicked the link, you will be taken to your Onboarding dashboard.


Completing your Employee Approval

From the Onboarding dashboard, there are 7 steps you will need to complete.

  • Enter your employee details

  • Add your emergency contact(s)

  • Enter your bank account details

  • Enter your IRD details

  • Enter your KiwiSaver details

  • Sign & accept your offer letter, employment agreement & position description

  • Complete your onboarding by clicking the Submit button

You will complete all these steps through the HR Today software, simply by scrolling down the Onboarding dashboard (as seen below).


How to decline an offer

1. If any information is incorrect, please click the Decline Offer button.

This button is located at the bottom of the Onboarding page (as seen below).

2. A confirmation pop-up window will appear allowing you to provide reasoning for sending the employment offer back to your employer.

Click the Confirm button to request changes/decline the offer (as seen below).

A notification email is automatically sent to your assigned hiring manager's email inbox once you have clicked the Confirm button.

This email notifies your hiring manager that the offer has been declined along with the reason provided.

Onboarding
