Completing an Acknowledgement

1. Accessing an assigned task

Access by Email

1. When you are first assigned a task to complete, you will receive and email notification from HR Today notifying you of the document requiring your attention. Simply click on the Direct Link to log into HR Today and sign the document.

2. If you miss the initial notification that is sent out, or you do not action the acknowledgement right away, you will receive an email every Monday morning reminding you of the outstanding Acknowledgement to review.

3. Assigned Acknowledgements will be visible upon logging into your HR Today account.

Click on the blue text Acknowledgement to take you directly to the document for your review.


2. Completing an Assigned Acknowledgement

Acknowledgement summary

1. review the information in the Acknowledgement Summary to know some key details:

  • Who assigned you the Acknowledgement

  • The date the Acknowledgement was initiated

  • The date the Acknowledgement is due.

Note: If a field is incorrect, please scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Decline button to notify your manager / employer. We recommend providing a reason for declining the offer e.g. "I believe the due date should be moved to the 19th of April 2024 as I have 2 days of annual leave around this period".

2. All documents for you to review will be available to access as a PDF document download. Click on each document title to view the document.

3. Once you have reviewed and understand the documents, Using the signature window, digitally write you signature using your mouse and click Acknowledge. This will notify the Acknowledgement Initiator that you have acknowledged the documents.

Declining an Assigned Acknowledgement

4. If you want to decline an acknowledgement use the Decline button at the bottom left of the acknowledgement page. This will prompt a response from you as to why you are declining the Acknowledgement which will be sent onto the initiator of the acknowledgement process.
